Enrolling your
child in our JR. TAE KWON DO program is one of the best decisions you will ever
make concerning your child's growth and development. We applaud your resolve in seeking out the
very best for your child. You are wise
enough to know that a martial arts education is not just about kicking and
punching, but developing good habits and a positive attitude - and what better
age to start? Confidence and discipline
are just some of the many attributes they can take with them beyond the walls
of the academy.
At Chin Bo Jok
Martial Arts Academy, while the traditional Korean martial art of Tae Kwon Do
remains intact, we have incorporated practical, useful components such as anger
management, stranger danger and non-violent conflict resolution, in order to
provide a well-rounded program for today’s child.
At Chin Bo Jok,
the attitude and performance of each child is as important outside our walls,
as it is during training. To ensure all
remain positive, we have developed age-appropriate “responsibility lists” for each
student. To further instill the
realization that “all is connected”, a letter of intent to promote goes home
before testing for both the parent(s) and teacher to sign.
Our programs are
regularly recommended by teachers, adjustment counselors, therapists, and
health care providers to help parents with shy, challenged, or insecure
children and those requiring behavior modification. Children experience stress-relief, develop confidence,
and make friends in our structured, purposely inclusive environment.
As with all our
programs, the student is assessed and treated as an individual, not an age or a
label. This starts with a Chin Bo Jok “Kickstart”, our private lesson/evaluation, done prior to
anyone entering the classroom.
Courtesy calls, parent/teacher meetings and an ‘open door’ policy help us stay in touch with what you, the parent, are looking for in a martial arts program and stay on top of the needs of your child.
