Teens Need what Tae Kwon Do Provides

A stronger sense of self. A connection with other teens. Confidence. A positive Attitude. Just because our children are no longer little, doesn’t mean they do not need our guidance. In fact, they need it more than ever! Our teen program is more than just another activity for your teen, it is a lifetime activity that can make a real difference!

We know how to teach teens!

We have developed a curriculum and teaching method for teens that has it all! While the traditional Korean martial art of Tae Kwon Do remains intact, we have incorporated practical, useful components such as anger management, stranger abduction and non-violent conflict resolution, in order to provide a well-rounded program for today’s teen.

Your Teen will Love Tae Kwon Do!

We all know that learning a new skill involves much repetition and Tae Kwon Do is no different. Our professional staff are experts in disguising repetition and coming up with new exciting drills so your teen can look forward to each fun-filled, action-packed class.

Teens Develop a Martial Arts Attitude!

At Chin Bo Jok, the attitude and performance of each teen is as important outside our walls, as it is during training. To ensure all remain positive, we have developed age-appropriate “responsibility lists” for each student. Your teen will also be responsible for a letter of intent to promote that goes home before testing, for both the parent(s) and teacher to sign.

Proven Programs!

Our programs are regularly recommended by teachers, adjustment counselors, therapists, and health care providers to help parents with shy, challenged, or insecure teens. Teens experience stress-relief, develop confidence, and make friends in our structured, purposely inclusive environment.

Individual Assessments!

As with all our programs, the student is assessed and treated as an individual, not an age or a label. This starts with a Chin Bo Jok “Kickstart”, our private lesson/evaluation, done prior to anyone entering the classroom.

We believe in a “It takes a village” mentality

Courtesy calls, parent/teacher meetings and an ‘open door’ policy help us stay in touch with what you, the parent, are looking for in a martial arts program and stay on top of the needs of your teen.
